Shared Hosting Really Sucks

6:20 AM by admin · 0 comments

May be a month ago, i thought to get myself a place to host my stuffs, and that moment, justhost.com was affordable and  i thought was best options, but after two months  it came to an end. I had to much difficulties, with it; what ever the hosting site be its hell when you have a blog, on top of it if you are wordpress based.

It was like a bad dream i had about 500 Post, one morning i received an email from JustHost.Com stating that they had suspended my account as the usage was above 16%, god knows how they use their calculations. And apart they sent me a link to go dedicated. Look at this a blog that doesn't has more than 500 posts should be sent to dedicated server, that was not my plate of rice. But somehow i managed to get my account opened back again and made it running.

This actually made me thrilled, i didn't even had about 500 posts, not even using 30 MB of space, how could they just turn out so weird. I asked them how do you claim about unlimited hosting than, they mailed me this way; they offer unlimited space but what is counted is 50000 nodes, may be you are scratching your head whats this 50000 Nodes anyway., well let me be clear, if you upload a picture in your posts, that is 1 node and your post is also counted as 1 node, and their are still more things this might seem too much for you, but if you are a blogger and make some posts each day than this won't be what you thought earlier.

That day onwards i just hated blogging as i always worried if i would get my account suspended again. I even used plugins like, WP Super Cache, but then more stupid things started happening.,

I would suggest people to use WP Super Cache if you are currently in Shared Hosting, they do claim they offer Unlimited hosting or Unlimited MB's but thats just their way of attracting more sales.

I am already missing WordPress.Com platform as i know how robust it was, but i am happy as well i am back to the easiest platform for bloggers known as, Blogger.Com. Well, may be for some months i will be on Blogger.Com until i get myself a dedicated.

I had seen some cheap dedicated hosting by the way, but i don't think that would be a better choice to make, so i am waiting for some months.
